  3. I finally painted Rabbit! :D
I’m a little disappointed that it didn’t turn out as well as my portrait of the Spine. :( In my defense, the copper color was hard to paint.

  4. clockwork-vaudeville-deactivate asked: Hello! I love your Spine art :) I'm attempting to paint Rabbit in PS, but I'm not sure how to get that kind of shiny/sparkly look that his make-up has, do you have any idea?

Thank you! I’m also trying to paint Rabbit currently, and I must say that the copper color is significantly harder to paint than the silver. I would suggest painting in grayscale, then adding an overlay of color on another layer. As for the shiny looks, start with a medium value and work up the darks and the lights. Put some of the darkest values and the lightest values close to one another for the metallic sheen. It’s all about the contrast. Add bits of your lightest lights (almost white) in small areas, and sparingly. Good luck, and I’d love to see it when you’re done!
